What started as a profound vision in the late 80’s of exploring (at that time) unfamiliar methods to achieve a more efficient and dynamic way of communicating information and knowledge led to the foundation of Digital Context AB in 1993 by former researcher Christer Hult. As the personal computer was starting to evolve so were the possibilities to not only create and display multiple media formats simultaneously but also giving the viewer the ability to interact with it. While this may sound trivial with the massive media overload we’re facing today, it was groundbreaking at the time. It’s been an invaluable journey which simply cannot be learned any other way. Digital Context has evolved into a full-service creative agency specialized in visual communication. Our services include 3d graphics and animation, film, interactive design, rich media applications.

This holds true not only in regard to the visual and emotional impact in our work but more importantly, the constant strive to create the most proficient solutions for our clients regardless of media format. This can only be achieved with a team that is highly motivated and have passion for their work. For this reason we’ve deliberately chosen to keep our team small and vibrant. Our staff has worked at some of Scandinavians most renowned companies in their respective fields, which results in a unique combination of experiences and talents. During our 18 years we have had the privilege of working with well over 150 clients, including: Axis Communications, Boehringer Ingelheim, The European Commission, Karolinska Institutet, L’Oréal Professional, Pfizer, Ericsson, Tetra Pak, Metso Minerals and Assa Abloy.
